Just when we thought they couldn’t possibly come out with any more “Hero” games, BAM! DJ Hero is here! Or will be soon at least (currently scheduled to release Oct 27 2009). It’s currently priced around 120 bucks, a little pricey compared to some of the other “Hero” games out there. But with 100 songs to choose from including artists such as; Black Eyed Peas, 50 Cent, Justice, Marvin Gaye, Beastie Boys, N.E.R.D, and Daft Punk, this game could be well worth it’s price.

The controls for the game are pretty easy to get a grip on, depending on how ambidextrous you are. The idea is the same as Guitar Hero, when the little bubbles come your way, push the buttons to initiate the music sequence. The difference is that you can scratch also (similar to the Whammy Bar in Guitar Hero) the record piece. There’s also sliders that realign you to match the path shown on the screen.

The other part though says that this is definitely a greater challenge than any of the other “Hero” games were, and I’ll be honest, the music is amazing. Who doesn’t want to play a mix of Marvin Gay and the Gorillaz?
