The “AION Tower,” a new vault site in the plethora of awesome MMO vault communities, has finally launched today. And it’s about damn time. Go there now.
If you are a fan for the upcoming MMO, like myself…. and are currently blocked from most video game websites except IGN.com, like myself… then this is great news. I took a look around and I have to admit that it is pretty clean. And that is saying a lot for the IGN Vault network because visually those sites are a mess. But they are the best sites for general information, and often times has the largest active forum communities. Also they have a wiki (that doesn’t look like crap) which is great because the information on other vaults can get pretty dated at times. For example, WoW Vault is still using the talent calculator for build 2.01 (That’s the Burning Crusade expansion for those of you who hate numbers), and Warhammer Vault still has up an old Zealot guide that I wrote from the beta…. and is massively dated (and now inaccurate thanks to all the changes the game has undergone).
That being said, I plan to get a bit of coverage on AION on this site in the near future. I am in the beta and so far it’s pretty fun. But we can save these impressions for a later date.
